It's a wild ride over Niagara Falls in a barrel of laughs as Cass embarks on a journey of self-discovery that has her crossing paths with a blithely suicidal alcoholic, a lonely tour-boat captain, a pair of bickering private detectives and a strange caper involving a gargantuan jar of peanut butter, all of which pushes her perilously close to the water's edge.

By Lezley Havard. Directed by J. Mark Baumhardt. A long abandoned farmhouse sets the stage as the new home of a pregnant Jennifer and her husband Richard. They have left the city for the peace and quiet of the country to raise their first child, and are restoring it before the baby is born. But Jennifer fears that the house may be resisting their presence. The restoration goes very slowly, the lights fail, the plumping malfunctions, and their neighbor suggests the couple should move back to the city before it’s too late giving them an odd welcoming gift! Then there is the silent little girl that swings in the back yard – seen only by Jennifer – who brings this suspense-filled play to a chilling climax.

One of Shepard's most acclaimed plays, True West was revived on Broadway in 2000 with Philip Seymour Hoffman and John C. Reilly winning Tony Award nominations for their performances.
